Loheagaon is primarily known for Pune International Airport. This airport serves as a domestic and international airport, with flights to Mumbai, Bangalore, Chenaai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Nagpur, Ahmedabad etc. and international flights to Singapore and Dubai. In the coming months , there will be a direct flight from pune to frankfurt, by Lufhtansa airlines.

This place also has the Air Force base, known as 2 wing, one of the oldest air base in india , after the Ambala Air Base.It has 3 fighter planes - Sukhoi 30 MKI, Jaguar and Mig 29.

There is a famous water park in Lohegaon , known as Splash Mountain.

Here famous places are - New Project, Lohegaon village, Khese Park, Kalvad, Dhanori, Sant Nagar and Wagholi.

There is a road which connects Lohegaon and Wagholi, which in turn connects to the Ahmednagar highway.

Generally people come here on the weekends for visiting the water park, then a refreshing and economical meal at Seventh Heaven restaurent opp. to the Air Force Officers Mess.
