Incidents and Accidents

* On the morning of 18th May, 1996, an Archana Airways aircraft operating on the Delhi - Kanpur sector touched down late and could not be stopped within the available runway length, ending up beyond the runway. The aircraft hit the boundary wall of the airport and came to a halt. The aircraft sustained major damages, but there was no fire and no injury to persons on board the aircraft.
* An Archana Airways flight crashed after taking off from Shimla while operating on the Delhi-Shimla-Bhunter-Delhi sector on the morning of 11th July, 1996, killing all 9 persons aboard (including three flight crew members). [http://dgca.gov.in/accident/acc96.pdf]
