Aberpergwm

Aberpergwm is the site of a colliery in the Vale of Neath near Glynneath in south Wales.

The drift mine was reopened in 1996 after being closed by British Coal in 1985. The mine has probably recoverable reserves of 7.6 million tonnes of coal. [http://www.walesonline.co.uk/business-in-wales/business-news/2007/12/19/energybuild-flotation-boost-for-aberpergwm-91466-20266939/]
