Belgium will be represented by the French-language broadcaster Radio Télévision Belge de la Communauté Française (RTBF) in 2009, who will choose the Belgian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 through an internal selection. At Eurovision

Since Belgium is not one of the "Big Four" and is not the host of the 2009 contest, it will have to compete in one of the two semi-finals.
