Eric Jolliffe

Eric Jolliffe

Eric Jolliffe (1907-2001) was born in England (migrating to Australia in 1911 with his family) but is known as an Australian cartoonist who contributed to "The Bulletin" and "Smith's Weekly". He was particularly fond of “bush” subjects.

Jolliffe attended East Sydney Technical College but was largely self taught. Strips included: "Andy", "Saltbush Bill" and "Witchetty’s tribe".
