The team, which plays in theKIT League plays its home games in Riverside Park, located in Dawson Springs, Kentucky.The CEO and current General Manager is Dwight Seymore. The head coach is Kurt Elbin. History
The Tradewater Pirates' inaugural season was in 1999. The team joined the
KIT League in 2007. [http://www.hopkinscounty.us/dawsonsprings/tp/Lists/Pirate%20Milestones/AllItems.aspx]The team was the KIT League Champions for the 2008 season with an impressive .700 record in 50 games, finishing five games ahead of the Fulton Railroaders who had a record of 29-20 (.591).
In 2007, four players from the Tradewater Pirates were selected for the
KIT League all-star team to play against the Central Illinois Collegiate League's all-star team. Those players were: Matt Toffaletti, Logan Neal, Brandon Robinette, and Hunter Nolen.Six players from the Tradewater Pirates were selected for the
