Bror Hayil ( _he. בְּרוֹר חַיִל, "lit." Soldiers' Inquiries) is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located near Sderot, it fall under the jurisdiction of Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 449.

The village was established on 15 May 1948, the day after the Israeli declaration of independence with the intention of guarding the sole road between the centre of the country and the Negev. The founders were immigrants from Egypt, though today most residents are immigrants from Brazil.

It was named for a Jewish settlement in the area from the era of the Second Temple, possibly a station for soldiers' inquiries. There was also an Arab village named Brur in the area.
