DaVinci3

DaVinci3 (or DV3) is a graphics engine software used in set-top box platforms by NDS. This engine provides low-level rendering API to Interactive Applications.

DV3 consists of 3 parts, that are:

• Core Graphics - This module provides primitive functionality like, drawing a rectangle etc.
• Font Engine - This module is responsible for rendering the text using the font files.
• Image Decoders - DV3 supports, PNG, JPEG, Standard GIF (a89) and NDS Specific bitmap images.
