The 1990 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was played from May to September, 1990. Cork defeated Meath in the final by a scoreline of 0-11 to 0-09. Cork's victroy completed an unique double for the county, as a few weeks earlier, their hurling counterparts won the Liam McCarthy Cup. As of 2008, this has been Cork's last All-Ireland success, with recent final defeats coming in 1999 and 2007
