Anne Michelle Wood (born 24 December 1974) is a politician in Western Australia, who will contest the newly created Legislative Assembly seat of Jandakot for the Australian Labor Party. Wood was raised in the southern Perth suburb of Kwinana, and was the recipient of the 1988 Town Council Youth of the Year Award, as well as the Australia Day Young Citizen (Kwinana) Award in 1989.
Wood completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing and Management) at Murdoch University in 1994, and a Masters of Industrial Relations at the University of Western Australia in 1996. In 2005, she completed a graduate law degree at Murdoch University.
Between 1999 and 2006 Wood worked as a Senior Adviser to Ministers Tom Stephens, Ljiljanna Ravlich and Alannah MacTiernan before entering employment with legal firm Kott Gunning as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2006.
