Blair Jacobs is a freelance Broadcaster, Producer, Voice-over and media trainer. Since 1994 he’s been working mainly for the BBC, producing and presenting radio programmes. He’s also presented numerous regional television news bulletins for ‘Look North’ in Yorkshire as well as fronting corporate videos for clients such as Smith & Nephew and Neil & Brown Global Logisitics. Blair has a wealth of experience in both public and private sector broadcasting and marketing.Blair is a key figure among the listeners of BBC Radio Humberside and is highly regarded amongst work colleagues and listeners alike.

Presenting

Blair currently presents a regular weekday slot on BBC Radio Humberside between 11.30am and 2pm, the "Soapbox" programme, a phone in which has always been part of the radio station and shall continue to do so. On Sundays he presents the "Sunday Religious" show and immediately after, "The Great Outdoors" along with local gardening expert Doug Stewart. Blair is due to leave the BBC in November 2008 to further his freelance career.

Clovelly Productions

Blair Jacobs operates his own limited production company, providing voice overs, media training and facilitating. The company was set up in March 2005.
