Nello CelioBorn February 12, 1914 Died December 29, 1995 Nationality Swiss Occupation Politician Nello Celio (February 12, 1914 – December 29, 1995) was a Swiss politician representing Canton Ticino.
He was elected to the Swiss Federal Council on December 15, 1966 and handed over office on December 31, 1973. He was affiliated to the Free Democratic Party.
During his office time he held the following departments:
- Military Department (1967 - 1968)
- Department of Finance (1968 - 1973)
He was President of the Confederation in 1972 and Vice-president in 1971.
