Lori Harfenist is an American
video producer who has become aninternet celebrity by hosting the online video talk show The Resident [ [http://www.theresident.net] http://www.theresident.net] , which became one of the first original 75YouTube Content Partner channels.Harfenist started producing The Resident for the Internet in 2000 and began airing it weekly on Manhattan Neighborhood Network's (MNN) channel 67 in New York City in December, 2004. It continues to run weekly on both media. She's also an activist-reporter for "G Word", the daily news program on Discovery Communications environmentally conscious network, PlanetGreen.
In addition, Harfenist has worked as talent and/or content producer for many entertainment companies including E! Networks, DirecTV, CNN, FoxNews, Turner Broadcasting, Atari, Nike, UGO, and Macy's. Harfenist graduated cum laude with a BA in Communications: Writing for the Media, from Pace University in New York City, and she attended the School for Film and Television.
