Zingem is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Huise, Ouwegem and Zingem proper. On January 1st, 2006 Zingem had a total population of 6,793. The total area is 23.93 km² which gives a population density of 284 inhabitants per km².
