1899 by Neafie and Levy,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ; purchased by the Navy from the Luckenbach S.S. Company,12 October 1917 ; and commissioned6 December 1917 .World War I service
Assigned to the
3d Naval District , the 434 gross ton tug operated out ofNew York City as a seagoing tug until6 December 1919 .Post-war decommissioning
Decommissioned in December
