Nozstock: The Hidden Valley is an independent arts and music festival which takes place every year on The Rowden Padocks Farm in Bromyard, Herefordshire. Nozstock hosts eight stages, comprising three DJ stages, three live/acoustic stages, one theatre and one comedy tent. As well as this, on site there is a cinema screening short films, a children's area of entertainment, a burlesque show as well as walkabout fire and circus performers.

Background
The festival was founded in 1998 as a large barbecue at the home of the Nosworthy family, long-term residents of Bromyard in Herefordshire, the Midlands, and has since grown with volunteer assistance to its current capacity of 5000.
This years festival will be held on 29th - 31st July[1]
Performers
Previous artists to perform at the festival include the Scratch Perverts, the Blockheads with Phill Jupitus, Krafty Kuts, the Stanton Warriors, Sub Focus, High Contrast, the Buzzcocks, Pete & the Pirates, Gabby Young & Other Animals, Jack Beats, Caspa, Ricta, Rusko, Andy C, Pulled Apart By Horses and the Joy Formidable. Comedians include Russell Howard and Stephen Frost of Whose Line is it Anyway? fame[2]. Also many local artists perform at the festival[3].
Stages have been hosted by Karmajunkie, BBC Introducing, Tribe of Frog and Jailhouse, and artists are encouraged to participate in the festival, through live performance or submission to competitions[4].
Awards
The festival has received nominations for UK Festival Awards in 2008, 2009 and 2010. In 2010, it has been nominated for Best Small Festival, the Family Festival Award, Best Dance Event and Best Toilets.
