Jimmy Bancks

James Charles Bancks, or Jimmy Bancks (born Enmore, Sydney, 10 May 1889, died Point Piper, Sydney, 1 July 1952) was an Australian cartoonist. His work includes the comic strip "Ginger" (later "Ginger Meggs") for the "Sunday Sun" and "Sun News-Pictorial". Bancks also contributed to "The Bulletin" and "The Comic Australian".
