Gawler Bypass Road is a major north-south route in the outer northern suburbs of the city of Adelaide, South Australia. It has the State/National designation of .

It is a freeway standard route connecting Main North Road to the Sturt Highway, bypassing Gawler. Major exits include Two Wells Road, Mallala Road and the Barrier Highway .

The route was built in the mid-1980's in an attempt to redirect traffic on the national highway out of the Gawler town centre.

Northern Expressway

The Northern Expressway will be a 31 kilometre long freeway grade road, with construction on the expressway due to begin in 2008. It will begin at a freeway style interchange on the Gawler Bypass Road and head south west towards Port Wakefield Road (National Highway |publisher=South Australian Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure]
