Gawler Bypass Road is a major north-south route in the outer northern suburbs of the city of
Adelaide ,South Australia . It has the State/National designation of .It is a
freeway standard route connectingMain North Road to theSturt Highway , bypassing Gawler. Major exits include Two Wells Road, Mallala Road and the Barrier Highway .The route was built in the mid-1980's in an attempt to redirect traffic on the national highway out of the Gawler town centre.
