Pyasina River

Pyasina River ( _ru. Пясина) is a river in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. The length of the river is 818 km. The area of its basin is 182,000 km². The Pyasina River originates in the Lake Pyasino and flows into the Pyasino Gulf of the Kara Sea. There are more than 60,000 lakes in the basin of the Pyasina covering the area of 10,450 km². The river freezes up in late September—early October and stays under the ice until June.
