"His Grace" or "Her Grace" was the style used to address the King or Queen of
Scotland up to the Act of Union of 1707, which merged theKingdom of England and theKingdom of Scotland , and to addressmonarch s of England prior toHenry VIII . Today, the style is used when referring to non-royal dukes and duchesses in theUnited Kingdom .For example, "His Grace" The

The style "His Grace" and "Your Grace" is used in England and other English-speaking countries to address Roman Catholic archbishops, save the United States and Canada where the official (but very rarely used) styles are "His Excellency" and "Your Excellency". In the
