widow spider commonly found inPeru andChile . It is known commonly as the cheetah spider for it's mindboggling speeds, reaching speeds of up to 1.82 feet per second, or nearly two miles per hour (almost 350 times it's 2.4 centimeter length) There are no photographs of this extremely rare species - only two live specimens have been captured. It is marked with small brown and red stripes on its abdomen near itscephalothorax . The effect of its venom is currently unknown to humans.
