V. Seetaramayya

V. Seetaramayya (1899-) was the principal of Arts and Science college, Honnavar and a Kannada writer. He was awarded the National Sahitya Academy.

Life

V.Ci was born on October 2nd 1989 in Boodigeri village of Bangalore distrct. He earned B.A (1920) and M.A (1922) from Mysore Maharaja collge, Mysore. He worked as professor in various colleges in Karnataka state before becoming principal of Arts and Science college, Honnavar in the year 1964. He was retired in the year 1968.

Professor V. Sitaramayya was known as V.Ci in short. V. Ci was Director of All India Radio, Bangalore from 1956 to 1958.

He was president of 36th Kannada Sahitya Sammelan held in Kumta (1954).
