Robert James "Sam" Berry (born 1934) is a British
geneticist , naturalist andChristian . He was professor ofgenetics atUniversity College London between 1974-2000. He was president of theLinnean Society , theBritish Ecological Society and theEuropean Ecological Federation . A Christian, Berry has spoken out in favour ofevolutionary creationism , and served as a lay member of theChurch of England 'sGeneral Synod and president ofChristians in Science .Bibliography
