The album features a selection of her greatest hits, along with new tracks, including the first single "El Presente". This recording included collaborations from La Mala Rodríguez performing the hip-hop section of "Eres Para Mi"; two time Oscar-winner Gustavo Santaolalla plays banjo on the new track "Algun Día"; Brazilian singer Marisa Monte performs in "Illusion", a brand new song recorded in Spanish and Portuguese; Jaques Morelenbaum participates in "Como Sé", and Natalia Lafourcade is included as a part of Venegas' band. Julieta Venegas played the tuba, clarinet, xylophone, flute and strings.
