KJRB, is currently owned by Mapleton License of Spokane, LLC. In April 2008, they switched the format of KJRB with its sister station KGA. KJRB is now news-talk, and KGA is sports.

History

KJRB has had a long and colorful history showcasing many famous announcers including Larry Lujack, Charlie Brown, Norm Gregory, Brian Gregory, Rick Shannon, Suds Coleman, Rick Rydell, Marie McCallister, Steve West, and Sunshine Shelly Monahan. KJRB's call letters originally reflected the fact that it had been owned by Kaye-Smith Enterprises, the owners of Top 40 KJR in Seattle, Washington. The station was known as 790 The Fan, up until April 2008. It was a sports talk radio station in Spokane, Washington. The station also broadcasted "hot talk" shows such as Don and Mike, Tom Leykis, and, until his retirement, Phil Hendrie. and features programing from Fox Sports Radio, Sporting News Radio and Westwood One.
