Elfin facies

Elfin facies

Elfin facies is a form of facies where the patient presents with facial characteristics bearing some similarities to those traditionally associated with elves. Because of imprecision inherent in such as definition, as well as the potential for offense, it is better to use more specific terminology when possible, such as low-set ears.

It can be associated with Williams syndrome or leprechaunism.cite web |url=http://www.mercksource.com/pp/us/cns/cns_hl_dorlands_split.jsp?pg=/ppdocs/us/common/dorlands/dorland/nine/18770894.htm |title=Dorlands Medical Dictionary:elfin facies |format= |work= |accessdate=]
