Rebecca Hagelin is an author, radio host and public relations executive. She is currently vice president of communications and marketing for Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank based in Washington D.C.. As a Christian and conservative writer and speaker, Hagelin has "championed the pro-family message in both Washington and around the nation for some 25 years." Career

Hagelin joined the Center for Judicial Studies and "Benchmark" magazine in 1983, and moved on to become director of communications for Concerned Women for America in 1986. Hagelin later opened her own consulting firm, serving non-profits and elected officials. In 1998 she became communications director at WorldNetDaily, and was soon promoted to vice president of communications. Hagelin joined Heritage as vice president in 2002.

Hagelin is a noted expert on family issues and parenting. She is the author of the book "Home Invasion: Protecting Your Family in a Culture That's Gone Stark Raving Mad", published in 2005 by Thomas Nelson. Her syndicated column, "Heart Beat", still runs at WND. It is also carried by Townhall.com and distributed by UPI.

Hagelin has been a commentator for Salem Radio Network and a guest host for 630 WMAL in the Washington, D.C. market.

Personal life

Mrs. Hagelin and her husband Andy have two sons and one daughter and live in Arlington, Virginia.
