Battersea tube station

Battersea tube station is a proposed London Underground station in Battersea alongside Battersea Power Station on the Charing Cross branch of the Northern Line. It would be the new southern terminus, extending the line from Kennington via Wandsworth Roadcite news|url=http://www.nce.co.uk/news/2008/06/battersea_power_stations_4bn_plan_to_hinge_on_tube_extension.html|title=Battersea Power Station's £4bn plan to hinge on Tube extension|last=Rowson|first=Jessica|date=2008-06-26|publisher=New Civil Engineer|accessdate=2008-07-06] . It would be in Travelcard Zone 2.

The station is being proposed as a privately-funded project by the site developers, Treasury Holdings. If given planning permission it is expected to be open by 2015.
