Truelogic was founded in 2003 by Marcelo Tribuj and Martin Kornblum during the technology boom of Argentina. The surge in the Argentine technology industry was propelled in large part by the 2002 peso devaluation which resulted in cost-effective development benefits for technology companies, as well as by the enactment of new software industry promotion laws intended to promote growth of the high-tech industry.

Software Development Methodology

Truelogic bases its working process on a methodology known as Agile Software Development, a methodology that promotes development iterations, open collaboration, and adaptability throughout the life-cycle of the project. Utilizing Agile methods implies developing software in iterations, or short periods, that allows the team to develop the project in increments. Each new increment resembles a small software project of its own as it consists of planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation. The objective is to have an available release (without bugs) at the end ofeach iteration. Ideally, at the end of each iteration, stakeholders re-evaluate project priorities with the objective of optimizing their return on investment.

Agile methodology is oftentimes employed to minimize risk in software development as well as to assure quality of work and facilitate a smooth implementation.
