Preston D. Richards (born
15 September 1881 ) was an assistant solicitor for the state department of theUnited States underJ. Reuben Clark during the Taft Administration. He was also a leader inThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).In 1907, Richards wrote a biography of early

He then studied law at theUniversity of Chicago . From there he became assistant solicitor of the state department and later formed a private law firm with Clark. [Fow, Frank W. "J.
