Lucario appears in the eighth Pokémon movie, "", where he is a pokemon to a man named Sir Aaron during a time of war. Being close friends, Aaron traps Lucario in a magic staff in order to save him in a spot of trouble. Although, Lucario thinks that Aaron betrayed him, so he loses his trust for humans/pokemon trainers. After being released by Ash Ketchum, he begins to trust him, and then he learns that Aaron was actually trying to save him, and sacrifices himself in order to save the Tree of Beginning and "Mew (pokemon)".

Lucario also appears in "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" as an unlockable character. [cite web|url=http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/characters/hidden06.html|work=Smash Bros. In the Subspace Emissary, he battles with Meta Knight at the summit of the ice mountain when meta knight was being raced by ice climbers from the game series Ice Climber which started when the Ice Climbers where climbing the mountain and Meta Knite, in a hurry to regain controll the halberd, rushed through. The player can choose to fight as Meta Knight or Lucario. After combat, The two of them shake hands and Lucario joins the team as he and Meta Knight enter the Halberd. Once inside they team up with Solid Snake. All three of them were able to reclaim the Halberd. After this has done, Lucario can be played in brawl mode. Lucario is good for his aura power up and attacks, even though he stands a little distance from his foe it still hits as the aura from his palm reaches out a little further than his punch.

lucario is also avaible in booster packs of Pokemon TCG in the series of pokemon diamond and pearl but seen in the previous series of pokemon like in pokemon movie 8 and Pokemon advanced battle opening.

Aura Sphere

Aura Sphere is where he channels all his energy into a blue ball and the longer Lucario charges this move the bigger the aura channel through to the ball and multiplies the damage, what also multiplies the damage is the amount that lucario takes and uses it to backfire when the bigger the percentage the more K.O ability and more damage channeled through to the aura sphere attack. He reaches full power at 182 percent.

Force Palm

Force Palm is a aura attack that channels out a little more than side smash attack and still has percentage ability. This does a fair amount of damage and when used closer to the enemy it grabs them and then adds on the K.O rating further up, this is one of Lucario's most used moves for the damage and K.O ability, although, when used a little further away from the foe, Force Palm will take a while to charge up and leaves Lucario vulnerable to any attack made.

ExtremeSpeed

ExtremeSpeed is a recovery move that does not damage the opponent and cannot be used in a diagonal line, but however, if this move is used upwards, halfway through the attack you can change directions and curve round confusing the enemy which way Lucario going and can be used in the same way when the attack is sideways on. This attack is a good recovery move but one of Lucarios weak points and until landing will leave him vulnerable to upward smashes.

Double Team

Double Team is another of Lucario's attacks that doesn't hurt the opponent unless they attack first. This move when executed makes two images of Lucario and just like a normal dodge it evades the moves of foes, but this attack doesn't just dodge the attack, after it successfully evades Lucario disappears and reappears behind the foe and slashes with a low kick.

Aura Storm

Lucario jumps high into the air and hits the floor with a gigantic beam which can be controlled by using left or right. Although this move has a low K.O ratio, this move does a massive amount of damage when focused on the opponent and the more incline the more damage. This has got to be the best move for Lucario if he is injured for that will add on extra damage and cause a higher K.O rate onto this attack, when this move is executed, you can damage the player by the aura left behind after the high jump, some say which is created by a sonic boom.
