long = The Old Nyali Bridge (formerly known as the Nyali Bridge) was a floating bridge linking Mombasa Island to the Kenyan mainland.

The bridge linked the Mzizima district of Mombasa to Nyali [ [http://www.blissites.com/kenya/places/mombasa.html Tim and Lara Beth's Kenya Page - Mombasa ] ] , and was built in 1931.

In 2002, the bridge was superseded by the New Nyali Bridge (located approximately convert|0.55|mi|km to the north), leaving the wooden bridge to fall into disrepair [ [http://www.buzzle.com/articles/139696.html Kenya North Coast Beach Hotels- (5) Star Mombasa Beach Hotels ] ] . The western (Mombasa) approach to the bridge is the only remaining part of the bridge.
