Roberto Fonseca (Born 1975) is a Havana based,
Cuba njazz pianist . He is seen as one of the great contemporary Cuban artists and an international ambassador of Cuban music and culture. Fonseca was originally drawn to the drums and this comes through in his distinct percussive playing style.Fonseca began studying piano at age 8 and by 14 was experimenting with fusing American jazz and traditional Cuban rhythms. After earning a degree in musical composition, he left Cuba to find his sound and began touring with the likes of
