Leelai (2008) is the next awaited Oscar Films production after the massive hit Dasavatharam. It is a forthcoming Tamil film directed by film director, Andrew Louis, Andrew (Andy) has worked with director S. J. Suryaah in the movies Vaali, Khushi, New, etc.. Andrew who is making his debut in the Tamil film named Leelai, stars Shiv Pandit and Manshi Parekh in lead roles. The heart throb Pandit was the host in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Premier_League IPL cricket] show "Extra Innings" and star of Airtel, Sprite and several other commercials. The film, which is under production since mid-2008, has Satish Chakravarthy as composer of the film's soundtrack.

The same title Leelai was being used illegally by Kona Venkat in his film, later renamed as Naan Aval Adhu.

Aascar Films, formerly Oscar Films Private Ltd., is a leading production house led by the well known film distributor Oscar Venu Ravichandran.

Leelai filming is in progress.

Some internal resources have mentioned that the hot singer Shreya Goshal and other big voices are roped in. The music director is confirmed as Satish Chakravarthy.
