The station opened as Peel Causeway by the
Cheshire Midland Railway on12 May 1862 when the railway opened from Altrincham toKnutsford . This line later became part of theCheshire Lines Committee . The station became Peel Causeway for Hale in 1900 and in 1902 it became Hale.ervice
Monday to Saturday there is generally an hourly service from Hale to Manchester Piccadilly eastbound and Chester westbound.
Sundays five trains a day go to Chester and Altrincham, with the
Manchester Metrolink connecting toManchester city centre.Route
