Havigannada or Havyaka Bhaashe is the
native language ofHavyaka s. It is adialect ofKannada . Although it is similar to the mainstreamKannada , it resembles more to ancient Kannada (Halegannada ) and hence manyKannadiga s are not able to comprehend it. One more interesting feature of Havigannada is that it is having its own script. However it is not used, for the reasons unknown.History

Havigannada is used maily and mostly by
Havyaka s. It uses similar verbs and words as mainstream Kannada. However, similarity ends there. It matches more withHalegannada , which is not in use today. This might be the reason even nativeKannadiga s find it difficult to comprehend it for the first time.It is spoken in the region of
Sagar ,Sirsi ,Siddapur ,Puttur , Gokarna etc, where there is more density of Havyakas compared to other places.In some parts like
Sirsi andSiddapur , oftenNeuter genders are used insteadFeminine genders, which seem weird at first glance.Havigannada was partly used in
