Renusagar

Renusagar, situated in the southernmost and the largest district of Sonbhadra or Sonebhadra has a power plant of Aditya Birla. It has many varieties. The president of Power is Mr.Jyotirmay Bhaumik. Bhaumik's former secretary used to be Mr Kurian Thomas. Renusagar is situated near the famous ANPARA THERMAL PROJECT. Though little known in the U P state is is better recognised with the ANPARA.

It has a school, The Aditya Birla Public School(English Medium] , which was better known as VIDYA MANDIR.

Renusagar has its own club (auditorium), which has a Swimming pool, a Library, Table Tennis room, Carrom Board room, Gymnasium and a Badminton Court. The Club Boy is Uma Shankar.

Vidya Mandir school produced good results every year. Many students of Vidya Mandir have now been graduated and are doing jobs in reputed companies of national & international fame..

The tuitions are on very high demand in Renusagar. One of every 6th person is now giving tuitions. Some of them renowned are A.K.Pandey and Shenu.

There are two more big educational institutions in Renusagar (both are in Hindi Medium)1. Renupower Inter College (from 6th standard to 12th)2. Renupower Primary School (upto 5th standards).
