Connecticut State Marshal System
- Connecticut State Marshal System
The Connecticut State Marshal System was created in replacement of the defunct Connecticut County Sheriff System and now serves all of the serves that the county sheriffs departments carried out which includes: law enforcement (to some extent), arrest warrants, prisoner transport, judicial security, Bailiff , and executions. Each judicial district has a branch of the Marshal System to replace the local County Sheriff's Department.
