website_name =Little Kingshill Combined School is a co-educational primary combined school located on Windsor Lane in the village of
Little Kingshill . It was established in 1887 as a village nursery school, but expanded to its current combined status from the 1960s onwards. It servesLittle Kingshill and the surrounding catchment area, providing a high standard of education from three to eleven years of age. A proportion of the pupils come from out of catchment area, from the surrounding villages ofPrestwood ,Little Missenden ,Holmer Green and from the town ofHigh Wycombe .History
Little Kingshill Combined School has grown from a small Chilterns village school, housed in a Victorian building, to a combined school with a
Nursery and Primary units. The school is controlled byBuckinghamshire County Council .The school is now housed in separate modern blocks for KS1 and KS2. The Nursery Class is situated on the other side of the road in the original 1887 Victorian building. However, liaison between Nursery and Reception teachers is close, the transition from Nursery to Reception is very smooth and the children settle quickly into life at school. The school motto is 'Learning has no Limits'The Village Hall is incorporated into the school site. The school uses it during the day and the local community uses it during evenings and weekends. This allows the school the use of two halls, the Village Hall and its own, for most of the week and this provides an extensively used community resource.
