Brooke, Rutland

Brooke is a village in the county of Rutland in the East Midlands of England. It is located about three miles south-west of Oakham. In 2001 it had a population of 70.

The church appeared in the 2005 film adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. The parish [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/160187 church] is St Peter. The village is at the start of the River Gwash near Braunston-in-Rutland.
