C. Edwin Creed was the second head college football coach for the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils located in New Britain, Connecticut and he held that position for five seasons, from 1948 until 1952. His coaching record at Central Connecticut was 15 wins, 18 losses, and 6 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him sixth at Central Connecticut in total wins and fifth at Central Connecticut in winning percentage (0.462).
