- Fu Kang'an
Fu Kang'an (Chinese: 福康安,
Pinyin Fú Kāng'ān;Chinese style name (字): 瑶林,Pinyin Yáolín); ? - 1796) was born in Beijing and the third son ofFuheng , a grand minister of state during the middle years ofQianlong 's reign. Fu held various eminent offices, includingGovernor-General ,Viceroy of Liangjiang andViceroy of Liangguang . It was rumoured that Fu was indeed an illegitimate son of Qianlong Emperor and the emperor entrusted his son to the then most eminent and powerful Manchu clan Fuca. Although the story has never been proved true, it is a fact that Fu was the emperor's most favoured general during his reign.Battles
