John Ollivierre-Sorzano (born December 3, 1979 in Barcelona, Venezuela. Raised in Brooklyn, New York, & later Miami, Florida. He is a former NFL Europe cornerback, NCAA Baseball outfielder. He was listed at a height of 5'11 and weighed 195 lbs.

Biography

High school years

John attended Miami Norland Senior High School where he played baseball, and American football. He quit the varsity Baseball team his junior year to play in an (un-paid) amateur summer league to play against more experienced players.

College career

In 1997, he received an athletic scholarship to attend Florida Memorial University. In 1998 John transferred to Florida State University to play baseball (OF), and American football (defensive back). Beginning his sophomore year, he redshirted for the Seminoles, and played outfield for the baseball team.

Baseball

(He was scouted by the Kansas City Royals, and later selected by the Chicago White Sox out of Miami Norland Senior High School, though he did not sign.)

NFL-Europe Career

Barcelona Dragons

In 2001, he was allocated to NFL Europe's Barcelona Dragons by the New York Giants as an un-drafted free agent. John left NFL Europe in 2003 after injury.
