"Free Style" is a coming-of-age story about an 18 year old young man (Corbin Bleu), who is devoted to his family, and finds love and himself in his quest to win the Amateur National Motocross Championship. Free Style (aka Metal Birding) is directed by William Dear (Angels in the Outfield, Harry and the Hendersons).

Plot

Cale Bryant is an 18 years old, he's a pre-eminent racer on the local motocross circuit. His dream to win the Amateur National Championships is surpassed only by his devotion to his down-on-their luck family. With the support of his best friend and girlfriend, Cale manages to juggle his passion for his sport with two jobs, in order to help his single mother pay the bills. But on the eve of the national competition, a family tragedy strikes, potentially signifying the end of a dream.
