De Niro often regarded as one of the greatest actors of all time like Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Christopher Walken or Jack Nicholson but only Jack Nicholson won more Oscars than him.

He won Oscar's playing Vito Corleone in "The Godfather, Part II" (1974) and Jake La Motta in "Raging Bull" (1980). For his first Oscar win, De Niro wasn't present. Francis Ford Coppola accepted the award on his behalf. De Niro was also nominated for several Golden Globe awards and won one of them and was also nominated for assortments of other awards. For a majority of his career, De Niro has been successful and never has been nominated for a Golden Razzie such as categories like Worst Actor or Worst Supporting Actor. He was nominated for Worst Screen Couple in the film "Showtime" but this was not due to his performance.
