Pentucket Regional School District is a three town regional school district. Elementary schools are located in each town, and the high school campus is located mostly in West Newbury and partially in Groveland. The schools teach the languages French, Spanish, German, and Latin. This school district is formed by three towns: Groveland, Merrimac, and West Newbury. Its administrative offices are housed in the middle school at 22 Main Street, West Newbury, Massachusetts.
The schools are:
* Merrimac: The Dr. Frederick Sweetsir (K-2) and Helen Donaghue Elementary (3-6)
* Groveland: The Elmer Bagnall (K-6) Elementary and Pentucket Regional Middle School (7 and 8)
* West Newbury: The Dr. John Page (K-6) Elementary and Pentucket Regional High School (9-12)
The District is led by a nine-member School Committee. As of 2007, these are Jack Willet, Joseph D'Amore, Val Corradino, Thomas Atwood, Jill Albert, Heather Connor, Dr. Todd Treado, Doreen Blades, and Maureen Moran.
