Caitlin Galicia (born March 21, 1993) is an American child actress and dancer. Galicia started her acting career in 1997 starring in a Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup commercial. She had a desire of performing at a young age and was very active in activities raging from dancing to sports. Galicia started out dancing for a local dance studio and then her interests began moving towards acting.

Biography

Caitlin Galicia was born in Pomona, California and raised in Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga, California. Galicia has two siblings: a younger brother by two and a half years Carlos Jr., and a younger sister Chloe, 5 years younger. Galicia's father, Carlos Sr., is Spanish and Italian. Her mother, Antoinette, is of Filipino/Spanish descent. She attented school in the Rancho Cucamonga School district where she went to Los Amigos Elementary School and Rancho Cucamonga Middle School. Galicia promoted with honors, which she maintained a 3.7 gpa all years, and various awards for sports. She is currently attending Etiwanda High School and is part time home-schooled due to her career.

At the age of 3, Galicia's mother started her in dance lessons at a local dance studio, Suzanne's Dance Studio then Inland Valley Dance Academy. Galicia won many talent/dance awards at various competitions. Galicia studied all dances ranging from Ballet to Hip Hop and even to Production. Galicia caught her teachers' and many talent scouts' eyes when beginning to go solo. After many turned down offers in the entertainment industry, Galicia enjoyed living her life as a normal child. Galicia took Piano lessons from a family friend and has been playing the piano efficiently for almost 9 years. Starting softball around the age of 9, Galicia has played for both the cities of Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, Ca as well as playing for a few travel teams. Galicia has won various titles such as "Most Likely to Become a Star", "Most Outstanding Overall Junior Dancer", and even "Miss Congeniality".

Career

She started acting at the age of 4, when she landed a lead role for a "Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup" commercial. Soon Galicia found herself doing theatre and musicals, landing lead roles in plays such as Les Miserables and The Little Mermaid. As time went on, Galicia began to pursue dancing professionally. She has been dancing in many Disney Channel original movies and has helped choreograph dance performances for her fellow colleagues in the business with the help of her Disney friend Alyson Stoner.

Caitlin is currently taking a break from the industry focusing on her school work. She aspires to be an agent in the entertainment industry and to someday open her own agency.This is her very first time on Disney Channel too!
