The Opel Astra Cabrio was a cabriolet designed by Opel and built from 2001 to 2006 by Italian coachbuilder Bertone. The Astra Cabrio was badged as an Opel in Europe, Vauxhall in the United Kingdom, and Holden in Australia. The Cabrio was built by Bertone for Opel alongside its Coupé variant. The Astra Cabrio has been replaced in 2006 by the Opel Astra TwinTop.
The cabrio was the most desirable in the Astra G line up due to its immensely popular electrically retracting canvas roof which raised and lowerd in just 30 seconds. The Coupé ceased production in 2004. The Astra Cabrio flagship model had xenon HID headlamps, leather upholstery and satellite navigation.
