Ardoino da Piacenza (died after
December 23 ,1182 ) - was an Italian cardinal. Hi first name is listed also as Arduino.He was archdeacon of the cathedral chapter of
Piacenza and member of the Order of Canons Regular de San Frediano di Lucca.Pope Alexander III created him Cardinal in the consistory celebrated inFrascati in1178 . OnSeptember 6 , 1178 he signed a papal bull as Cardinal-Deacon of S. Maria in Via Lata, but shortly thereafter he was promoted to the rank of Cardinal-Priest of S. Croce in Gerusalemme; as such, he signed a bull for the first time onOctober 1 , 1178. He participated in thepapal election, 1181 , which electedPope Lucius III . He wrote an opuscle titled "De Deo immortali". His name appears for the last time in the papal bull dated December 23, 1182.ources
