Kattuvelampalayam is a village in Namakkal district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Kattuvelampalayam is located on the bank of river Cauvery. Nearly 200 families of different castes are living and most of the families are depend on the Agricultural. Rice, turmeric, sugar cane and ground nuts are the major crops cultivated through out the year. It comes under the Erayamangalam panchayat. It has one co-operative society. The nearest town are Erode (18-20 km) and Thiruchengode (15-16 km). It has many graduates and every one is doing their job at their best. KVP has many political leader from DMK, MDMK and ADMK parties and every one is very important in their party.
